After having a talk with my dad tonight about my future and then from thinking about what I want to be and do with my life. I realized that the statement…"Champions are propelled by desire, not compelled by fear." (Denis Waitley) Is more and more applicable. In transitions, we have to choose to be a champion, it doesn’t just happen… You have to consciously take captive every thought, word spoken, as well as every action. Fear is not even an option. There is no possibility for it when you believe what the bible says in (Proverbs 21:2)"He who pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor."
I have no fear in my future because I believe that when you pursue Gods best that’s exactly what you will get. The path will not always be easy, sometimes there will be pain and uncertainty. I know there are things that I wish I could see a positive outcome to already. But the good news is that I know someone who does… and I can always have Faith that He (God) will lead me and give me strength as I continue on my path to success. “It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect.” (Psalm 18:32) He knows whats best for me even when I dont always think I like where I am headed.
Its crazy how in life, while I experience new levels of pain… I also reach new depths of love, clarity, and happiness… In the Bible it says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28) I believe this with all of my heart! If you are following HARD after God and His purpose in your life… You have no option but to succeed!
"Give thanks in ALL circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." (1 Thessalonians 5:18) Thank you God for leading me and guiding me. And for giving me the strength and faith to stand strong, even when I feel like I have nothing left to give you hold me and make a way for me.
Also I’d just like to say that Jesus didn’t half way give His life for us. He gaveIT ALL… I want to be that kind of person. I want to give everything, ALL I am to where God is leading me. I never want to let what I think I am incapable of, get in the way of who I know I am. (WHO GOD SAYS I AM!)
It is in transition times that we must believe that we are MORE than conquerors… even when we cant see whats ahead. Be a person that is not compelled by fear to be or do better, instead be a person that understands that it is God and our desire to be a champion (to follow after Him with ALL we are) that will help us be great! Know that you are successful because God is leading you. If you choose to follow His voice… and not let fear of the unknown distract you! “Obstacles are those frightening things that become visible when we take our eyes off our goals.” (Henry Ford)
